Requesting a read or delivery receipt

A read receipt can be used to inform you when a recipient has opened your message and a delivery receipt tells you when the message has been delivered to a recipient’s inbox

Select mail1. Click Mail in the navigation bar at the top right of the screen

 

Click new mail2. Click New mail at the top left of the screen

 

Select show message options3. Click the three dots at the top of the email and select show message options

 

 

Tick the relevant box4. Select Request a delivery receipt and/or Request a read receipt and click ok

 

5. Type in the recipient, subject and body of the email

an email reciept will be delivered when the it is read/delivered6. When you have finished, click Send at the top of the screen

 

 

 

When the message has been delivered or the recipient opens the email, a notification email will be sent to your inbox
