Enabling and Disabling Teams Live Events for a user

Teams Live Events can be used to broadcast video and meeting content to large online audiences (up to 10,000 attendees). It is an extension of normal meetings, and ideal when running large training sessions, broadcasts, or webinar with attendees from inside and outside your organisation

Local Administrators can Enable and Disable Live Event function for a user.

To enable Live Event :

selecting user management1. Click Admin in the navigation bar at the top of the screen and select User Management from the drop down menu

2. Use the search box to find the user’s account you wish to edit.

3. Click on the user’s Display Name to open the User Details Page

4. Click on MS Live Events toggle button to turn it ON

 

MS Live Events will be turned ON

 

Important Note

To enable Live Events the user mailbox must be MS Teams / Stream enabled on their User Policy. Please see User Policy Management for more information.

5. Click Update

 

 

 

The message will be displayed

 

 

 

To disable Live Event :

Click on MS Live Events toggle button to turn it OFF

 

MS Live Events will be turned OFF
