Dear Local Administrator,
Important Information – Impending platform change – 4 August 2020.
We contacted you previously on 23 July and on 28 July about this approaching platform change. We are writing to remind you once again that this change may impact individual NHSmail user and application accounts within your organisation.
We are also planning to send a further all user comms on Monday 3 Aug at 1pm, reminding NHSmail users of this change.
What’s the Impact?
Accounts that are impacted will be asked to re-enter their password into the Outlook desktop client when they first login on the 5 August or after.
What action do I need to take?
To support this work, we are asking you to:
- Review the application accounts that you look after or inform those within your organisation who look after application accounts of the planned change. You can use your organisation mailbox report to identify your application accounts under column AG.
- Ensure you or they are ready to re-enter the password and notify any third-party suppliers who may mange these accounts on your behalfto be ready.
Further information is available on the NHSmail support site. Any questions can be directed to feedback@nhs.net
