The NHSmail Guest Access process is designed to enable collaboration between NHSmail organisations and their external partners. The process is designed to facilitate collaboration whilst maintaining the integrity and security of the NHSmail shared tenant for all organisations.

As part of the Azure B2B Guest Access service, a number of controls have been put in place to mitigate the risks associated with sharing data with users from external organisations.

Eligible Guest Inviter groups allow Local Administrators to apply Guest Inviter permissions to a defined group of users.

Editing details of an External Organisation

External Federated Groups will allow Local Administrators to dynamically manage guest invitations for multiple external users, mitigating the need to invite them one by one.
