Issue Description: Users may observe failures rendering images containing a Content-ID (CID) in email within the Timeline control.

More info: As an alternative method, users can open the same email directly in the Email entity form to render images correctly.

Current Update: 26/11/2024 09:00:00 AM – Microsoft were alerted to an issue within Microsoft Power Apps through their monitoring systems. Their investigation identified that impact occurred following a recent routine service update to the Microsoft Power Apps service infrastructure responsible for rendering images using the ‘View More’ button on the timeline. This deployment applied a configuration change that filters images containing a CID, resulting in impact. They have created a fix to correct this change and they are preparing to deploy it to the affected infrastructure.

Scope of impact: Any users serviced by the affected infrastructure may observe failures rendering images containing a Content-ID in emails within the Timeline control.

Root cause: A recent routine service update to the Microsoft Power Apps service infrastructure responsible for rendering images using the ‘View More’ button on the timeline applied a configuration change that filters images containing a CID, resulting in impact.
