Issue Status: ONGOING

Issue Description: Users’ files uploaded to Microsoft Teams channels may be incorrectly hosted on the users’ OneDrive for Business.

More info: Files are accessible, and no errors are reported. Impact is specific to files uploaded to Microsoft Teams channels during a meeting. Files uploaded after a meeting has ended are hosted on the channel’s SharePoint Online site as expected.

Current Update: 06/11/2024 08:15:00 AM – The fix deployment is taking longer than initially expected. At the current rate, Microsoft expect the release to complete by the next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure who are uploading files to Microsoft Teams channels during meetings.

Root cause: A recent service update contained a code regression, resulting in impact.
