Issue Description: Users’ files uploaded to Microsoft Teams channels may be incorrectly hosted on the users’ OneDrive for Business.

More info: Files are accessible, and no errors are reported. Impact is specific to files uploaded to Microsoft Teams channels during a meeting. Files uploaded after a meeting has ended are hosted on the channel’s SharePoint Online site as expected.

Current Update: 04/11/2024 09:26:00 AM – Microsoft are progressing with the internal validations for their fix and initial indicators verify that it will be viable for remediating the impact. As they complete their internal tests, they have scheduled the necessary deployment of the solution, and early estimates expect for it to have completed by their next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure who are uploading files to Microsoft Teams channels during meetings.

Root cause: A recent service update contained a code regression, resulting in impact.
