Issue Description: Users searching sites with auto-generated managed properties may see incorrect results.

More info: Impact is specific to SharePoint Online users searching sites containing auto-generated managed properties. As a result of this issue, such items may not have up-to-date search indexing, which is impacting the accuracy of users” search results.

Current Update: 17/09/2024 08:44:00 AM Microsoft solution has encountered a deployment blocker which is delaying its completion and the remediation of impact for all affected users. The deployment was able to address impact for a large subset of affected users; however, users may continue to receive incorrect results while searching sites with auto-generated managed properties. They are working to address the block so that our solution can resume the necessary deployment, and they will provide an estimated timeline for its completion once it has become available.

Scope of impact: All users serviced by the affected infrastructure may be impacted by this event.

Root cause: A recent update to the affected service contained a code issue that removed a function that facilitated the registration of store properties, leading to impact.
