Issue Description: Users may experience crashes when attempting to utilize media functions in Microsoft Teams meetings.

More info: The problem occurs in the new Microsoft Teams desktop and web clients for devices with Intel media drivers.

The impacted functions include the following:
– Video (including the use of camera)
– Screen sharing

Current Update: 29/04/2024 08:46:00 AM – Microsoft’s operation to deploy the fix has encountered an issue within their deployment infrastructure that’s preventing the fix from saturating the impacted service environment as expected. They are working to resolve this issue and resume deployment, after which they will provide a new timeline to remediation.

Scope of impact: This issue may impact any user attempting to use media functions in meetings in the new Microsoft Teams on devices with Intel drivers.

Root cause: A code issue introduced by a recent feature update is responsible for the media crashes in Microsoft Teams meetings.
