INC35069133 – High Send Authentication Errors – RESOLVED

Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: We are aware of some users experiencing issues when using the NHSmail high sending service ( Error responses may be observed stating that authentication has failed when connecting to the SMTP server with credentials supplied.

Final Update: 03/04/2023 17:04:00 PM – NHSmail engineers identified some intermittent authentication failures on the UK South High Send cluster. Restarting all pods within the cluster appears to have fully resolved the issue and we have been able to witness traffic flowing across both clusters without issue or failures of any kind. We will continue to monitor the platform to ensure stability has returned to normal whilst an investigation to understand the root cause is undertaken.
