Issue Status: RESOLVED

Description: We are aware of an issue this morning relating to the creation of new passwords and changing of passwords on the NHSmail platform. As per the NHSmail password policy, new passwords determined at account creation, or having reset your password, should be a minimum of 10 characters in length. However, due to an issue on the platform this morning, the minimum password character length has been extended to 14.

Final Update: 27/07/2022 11:47:00 AM – A change has been made to resolve the issue and the character limit has been reset to accept passwords with a minimum character length of 10 characters or more as per the NHSmail password policy.
