About the Centre of Excellence

The Workforce Experience Centre of Excellence is a hub within the NHSmail team at NHS England that focuses on building a detailed understanding of what people in different settings working across health and care really need from technology to be able to do their job. With this understanding, we then work to rapidly prove and implement innovations for the health and care workforce.

The focus of our work is to leverage the capabilities of Microsoft Office 365 for the NHS (N365), as NHS organisations in England can now access the most up to date Microsoft 365 product suite in a new agreement set out by NHS England and NHSX in June 2020. N365 is a product that includes a wide range of services, such as Office 365 for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and Teams collaboration.

For example, the team have worked on creating a dedicated space for collaboration in Teams between primary care and social care, and have been working on some digital tools to support wellbeing.

What does the research involve for me?

We are looking for staff from all settings across health and care who can tell us about their experience at work, as well as provide feedback for innovations that we are working on. Research sessions may involve 1-1 interviews, usability testing, or online surveys. Participating in research is completely voluntary and you may withdraw at any point.

How we deal with your data
