Issue Description: Users are unable to sign in to the Windows Company Portal application and receive a login error message.
More info: Once a fix has been released, users with automatic updates enabled for the Windows Company Portal app should receive the updated version automatically when the Microsoft Store checks for updates. Users who do not have automatic updates enabled will need to manually update the app through the Microsoft Store to receive the fix.
Final Update: 07/07/2026 09:44:00 AM – Microsoft has completed their process to roll out the updated app version to users with automatic updates enabled, remediating impact.
Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this event, and some users attempting to sign in to the Windows Company Portal application are impacted.
Root cause: The application is intermittently attempting to connect to a service endpoint that is no longer supported, preventing some users from signing in to the Company Portal application.
Next Steps: Microsoft are continuing to investigate why this service endpoint was continuing to be utilized to better understand and prevent similar future impact.
