Information – Notes Field Updates

Message: Notes field being overwritten by iPaaS.

User Impact: A small subset of users have reported that the Notes field in the Portal under User Details are being overwritten with a message similar to “Leaver is confirmed on YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ssZ”.

This action is part of the iPaaS design whereby Leavers have to go through iPaaS so that they are fully registered and appear in the Support Hub as Joiners. As part of the background processing, iPaaS picks up the Leaver record, processes it, and in doing so adds the note outlined above.

The current guidance is to add any specific notes to the User Details page after marking the user as a Leaver to ensure they remain visible and accurate.

Next Steps: Microsoft are exploring options to remove this element of the background process. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
