Issue Description: Users may be unable to send subscription emails to external users in Power BI.

Current Update: 30/01/2026 08:50:00 AM – Microsoft’s monitoring systems have identified impact where users may be unable to send subscription email to external users in Power BI. Their assessment has identified that an influx of automated email traffic from Power BI subscriptions is resulting in impact to external subscription email delivery. To remediate this, they are temporarily limiting subscription email to be sent only within the same Power BI environment.

Scope of impact: Impact may occur for all users attempting to send subscription emails to external users in Power BI.

Root cause: An influx of automated email traffic from Power BI subscriptions resulted in impact to external subscription email delivery.
