Issue Description: Some users may be unable to download some Microsoft 365 apps from the Microsoft365.com portal “Apps & devices” section.

More info: When affected users click on the “Install Office”, “Install Visio”, or “Install Project”, nothing occurs. Additionally, the option to sign out individual devices from apps isn’t working.

Final Update: 11/07/2025 10:55:00 AM Microsoft’s fix has fully deployed to the affected environments. After a period of monitoring service telemetry and testing in an internal environment, they can confirm that impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact: This issue impacts some users that are attempting to download Office, Visio, or Project from the Microsoft365.com portal “Apps & devices” section.

Root cause: A recent change to adjust some product features related to the Microsoft365.com portal resulted in a configuration issue preventing the install buttons for some Microsoft 365 apps from working.
