Issue Description: Users’ devices may be offered a Windows 11 upgrade despite Microsoft Intune policies being configured otherwise.
More info:- While Microsoft’s work to address the issue, admins in impacted organizations may be able to circumvent impact by pausing Windows Feature Updates until the code fix has been developed, tested, and deployed.

Note that devices which have already erroneously received the Windows 11 upgrade will need to be manually rolled back to the correct Windows version.
Final Update: 22/04/2025 08:49:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed from service telemetry that this issue is no longer occurring. They advise that previously affected admins remove the pause the on Windows Feature Updates gradually, rather than all at once, to experience full impact remediation, and contact a support representative should any issues persist.
Scope of impact: Some users that leverage Windows desktop devices may be impacted.
Root cause: A recent service change uncovered a latent code issue, causing impact.
Next update by: Microsoft are reviewing their service change validation and updating procedures to better detect and prevent issues like this prior to deployment in the future.
