Issue Description: Users may be unable to utilize avatar and video filtering features in Microsoft Teams for Mac.

Current Update: 14/05/2025 09:20:00 AM – One deployment to re-enable the avatar feature for Microsoft Teams for Mac users has completed. Their deployment to re-enable video filtering has experienced a block that is delaying our full remediation of impact. They are addressing the block so our deployment can resume and expect an updated timeline for its re-enablement to be available by their next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: This issue may affect any user utilizing Microsoft Teams for Mac.

Root cause: As a result of TM1047137, they have disabled the avatar and video filtering features in Microsoft Teams for Mac to resolve crashes which were previously occurring for users.
