Issue Description: Users searching sites with auto-generated managed properties may see incorrect results.

More info: Impact is specific to SharePoint Online users searching sites containing auto-generated managed properties. As a result of this issue, such items may not have up-to-date search indexing, which is impacting the accuracy of users” search results.

Current Update: 18/09/2024 09:00:00 AM – Microsoft have begun the deployment of the fix to the affected infrastructure and are overseeing the deployment process. They will provide a resolution timeline as one becomes available.

Scope of impact: All users serviced by the affected infrastructure may be impacted by this event.

Root cause: A recent update to the affected service contained a code issue that removed a function that facilitated the registration of store properties, leading to impact.
