Final Update : 28/09/2023 15:44:00 PM – While monitoring the final phase of redeployment, Microsoft successfully concluded a revert of the build versions containing the impacting configuration issue, which they executed in parallel to expedite resolution. They subsequently confirmed via service monitoring telemetry that impact to end users has been remediated. Microsoft will continue to monitor the build redeployments to ensure they complete as expected, to reduce the likelihood of the issue reoccurring.

Scope of impact : This event may impact some users who call a Microsoft Teams Auto attendant from a SIP device.

Root cause : A deployment made to address an unrelated event introduced a configuration issue that resulted in the impact.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing their service update deployment and provisioning procedures to help prevent this problem from happening again.
