Information – Teams Desktop Client 1.4 or earlier update

As part of updates to the Teams Desktop Client Microsoft have released the following information as part of MC477839.

On January 9 2023, users on Teams 1.4 or earlier build will encounter a blocking page requesting an update to the latest version of Teams.

In the future, users of out-of-date clients will continue to see warning banners and later be blocked to ensure they meet security and compliance obligations.
