Information – Licence Oversubscription – Power Apps Premium

We have identified that a policy enabled by default by Microsoft, in February 2025, has allowed some users to claim a “Power Apps Premium” licence from a pool of licences they should not have access to.

We plan on removing these licences from those users commencing 04 August 2025 and organisations should purchase these licences locally if they wish their users to remain unaffected.

This week, Local Administrators will receive direct communications with a list of users attached who are consuming a Power Apps Premium licence that has not been given to them via a User Policy. We would advise Local Administrators to communicate with their user prior to the 04 August 2025 to make them aware of this and if required, licences can be purchased locally to ensure continued access to Power Apps content.

Local Administrators for multiple organisations will receive separate emails for each organisation.

This process will be completed by the 08 August 2025.
