Issue Description: Users’ document libraries and list views using multiple group filters may not display results in SharePoint Online.

More info: Specifically, impacted users report that document libraries and list views using both Primary and Secondary grouping may not display the full or expected results.

Final Update: 17/07/2026 09:15:00 AM – The deployment has completed and Microsoft has confirmed that the issue is resolved.

Scope of impact: Some users attempting to view document libraries and list views using multiple group filters may be impacted. This information may be updated as their investigation continues.

Root cause: A recent change contained a code bug for the service component responsible for rendering double grouped views in SharePoint Online document libraries and lists, causing impact.

Next steps: Microsoft is reviewing their testing systems and change management processes to better this type of issue before customer environment deployments.

They will provide a preliminary Post-Incident Report within two business days and a final Post-Incident Report within five business days.
