Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users may have been unable to access Copilot Cowork from the Cowork toggle in Copilot.

More info: This issue prevented users from seeing the Cowork toggle to access this functionality. As a workaround, affected users could access the Copilot Cowork feature directly through the URL, https://m365.cloud.microsoft/cowork.

Current Update: 30/07/2026 09:35:00 AM Microsoft has confirmed the fix to address the remaining impact to new users has completed and after monitoring their service health telemetry, they have verified that the associated failures have ceased and the impact is remediated.

Scope of impact: Some users who attempted to access Copilot Cowork from the Cowork toggle in Copilot may have been impacted.

Root cause: A latency issue in the upstream dependency of the Cowork access flow was resulting in the impact.

Next Steps: Microsoft are continuing to review how they leverage their dependency to ensure the Cowork access flow is adequately bolstered against upstream latency to prevent this issue from reoccurring.
