Issue Description: Users on Microsoft Teams for iOS may be unable to see screenshares after initiating a whiteboard during meetings.
More info: Impact is specific to Microsoft Teams iOS builds past mid-2022.
Impacted users who initiated the Microsoft Teams whiteboard can leave and rejoin the meeting to view screenshares.
Current Update: 20/12/2024 08:30:00 AM – Microsoft are continuing to monitor the deployment of the code fix that will address the regression. Based on their current estimates, the fix is expected to be available on the iOS App Store by Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
Scope of impact: Some users on Microsoft Teams for iOS may be unable to see screenshares after initiating a whiteboard during Teams meetings.
Root cause: A feature flag introduced to Microsoft Teams that was intended to move whiteboard content to the main Microsoft Teams stage contained a regression that caused the whiteboard initiator to be unable to view screenshares afterwards.
