Issue Description: Users may be unable to search their email in Outlook on the web and may get an error.
More info: Users that have reported this problem encounter a “Something went wrong. Please try again later.” error message. Where possible, users can bypass the problem by utilizing a different client to search for their email, such as the Outlook desktop app.
Current Update: 30/10/2024 08:48:00 AM – Microsoft have completed the update to refresh and implement the new configuration change for impacted users. They are reaching out to impacted users who reported this issue to validate if our actions have alleviated the impact.
Scope of impact: Some users attempting to search for email in Outlook on the web may be unable to.
Root cause: A recent configuration update to Outlook on the web that wasn’t applied to some users Outlook on the web client.
