NHSmail Reference: INC44689326

Microsoft Reference: TM833972

Issue Status: ONGOING

Issue Description: Users may be unable to create connectors in Microsoft Teams.

More info: In subsequent calls, some APIs may fail. As a temporary mitigation for users of the Microsoft Teams web client, affected users can do one of the following:

– Clear cookies from https://outlook.office.com and logout of Teams, then close their browser and login to Teams again in a new window.

– Login to Teams in an Incognito or private browser session.

Incoming Webhook connector is working as of July 31, 2024, RSS connector is working as of August 6, 2024, and they’ll share the repair timelines for other connectors once they become available.

Note: There is currently no workaround for desktop.

Final Update: 28/08/2024 08:40:00 AM Microsoft’s aforementioned validation process is taking longer than expected. Once they have completed this process, they will begin deploying their final fix to address the remaining affected connectors. They now anticipate the fix will be deployed by Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

Scope of impact: Any user attempting to create connectors in Microsoft Teams may be impacted.

Root cause: A recently deployed build which contains a code issue, causing an issue with accessing the Azure storage and leading to impact.
