Issue Description: Users may observe a delay when updating Microsoft Teams calendar events.

More info: Affected users may be able to circumvent the issue by refreshing the application after seeing the error message following the initial failure to update calendar events and retrying the calendar event update.

Final Update: 29/07/2024 09:15:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed that the deployment of their fix completed as expected, and they’ve validated with internal testing and monitoring that the impact is remediated.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Root cause: A recent feature update introduced a code regression that resulted in the impact.

Next steps:  Microsoft are further reviewing the service update to understand how the code regression was introduced, and to understand what prevented it from being detected in their update testing and validation procedures, which will allow them to prevent similar issues in future updates.
