Issue Description: Users may encounter issues or delays accessing Exchange Online using multiple connection methods.

– Outlook on the web
– Outlook mobile

Final Update: 01/08/2024 10:25:00 AM Microsoft have identified that a recent update to code that facilitates memory allocation contained an error, resulting in impact. They have reverted this change and confirmed remediation via service telemetry.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users, served by the affected section of infrastructure, attempting to access the Exchange Online service through multiple connection methods.

Next steps: Microsoft are continuing our analysis of the memory allocation code contained within the update to better understand the underlying cause of impact and identify similar issues in during their validation processes.
