Issue Description: Some users may be unable to access or receive results when accessing some SharePoint Online lists and receive an error.

More Info: Impacted users receive the following error when attempting to access some SharePoint Online lists:
“One or more field types are not installed properly. Go to list settings page to delete these fields.”

Final Update: 20/06/2024 08:49:00 AM – After the completion of Microsoft’s fix deployment, their internal telemetry has confirmed that it has successfully addressed the recent service update and that impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact: Some users accessing SharePoint Online lists may be impacted.

Root cause: A recent configuration change to the schema responsible for displaying SharePoint Online list results, intended to resolve an unrelated issue, removed the content tags needed to display the affected results, which led to impact.

Next steps: Microsoft are further analyzing the offending configuration change so they can help isolate similar issues during their pre-deployment testing and validation processes.
