Issue Description: Users experience slow loading speeds or are unable to access SharePoint Online sites.

Final Update: 26/04/2024 09:18:00 AM – Microsoft completed the extended monitoring period and confirmed the restoration of the previous version of the network infrastructure configuration did resolve the issue. Their monitoring telemetry continues to indicate that service availability is healthy, and customers have confirmed mitigation.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Root Cause: A recent feature update to internal network infrastructure configurations caused increased network latency, which resulted in slow loading speeds or access issues for SharePoint Online sites.
