Issue Description: Users may be unable to utilize the Stream interactive button features in SharePoint Online.

Final Update: 15/07/2024 08:30:00 AM – Microsoft deployed the fix to the affected infrastructure and verified with affected users that this solution has successfully resolved the problem.

Scope of impact: Users with Android devices who haven’t previously signed into either Microsoft Authenticator or their company portal are impacted.

Root cause: A new feature rollout introduced a code conflict which is preventing usage of the Stream interactive button features.

Next steps: Microsoft are investigating how the new feature rollout introduced a code conflict which was preventing usage of the Stream interactive button features to prevent this problem from happening again. They’re also assessing why impact wasn’t identified prior to deploying the impacting change so that they can improve their update testing practices.
