Issue Description: Users are unable to share reports using the send email option within Microsoft Power BI.

More info: Additionally, the user interface indicates that the requests are failing and the recipients don’t receive the email.

Final Update: 06/11/2024 08:10:00 AM – Microsoft have completed the revert of the offending change and after monitoring the service, they’ve verified that this action has successfully remediated the issue.

Scope of impact: Organization is affected by this event, and users who are unable to share reports using the email option within Microsoft Power BI are impacted.

Root cause: A recent update, intended to enhance the performance of the service functionalities, contained a code regression which is resulting in impact.
