Issue Description: Some users who reload Microsoft Teams with a fresh cache can’t use certain e-sign functions in the Approvals app.

More info: : Impact is specific to DocuSign and Adobe e-sign functions. The problem occurs in both the new Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Teams classic desktop apps.

Final Update: 13/03/2024 09:07:00 AM – Microsoft concluded the deployment process of their fix to the affected infrastructure, and confirmed following an extended monitoring period that impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this event, and any user who reloads Microsoft Teams with a fresh cache may not be able to use certain e-sign functions in the Approvals app.

Root cause: A recent update to a component that passes information needed to leverage DocuSign and Adobe e-sign functions within the Approval app contained a code issue that impedes communication with the service and is causing the impact

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing their standard scheduled service update procedures to reduce or avoid similar impact in the future.
