Issue Description: Users may be unable to access some Microsoft 365 Apps when authenticating with MFA
Final Update: 13/01/2024 16:15:00 PM– Microsoft have identified that a section of infrastructure responsible for MFA operations unexpectedly became unresponsive. They’ve completed an extended period of monitoring in which the service health has remained stable and are declaring this incident as resolved.
Scope of impact: Impact is specific to users who are authenticating to our M365 Apps using MFA.
Root Cause: A section of infrastructure responsible for MFA operations unexpectedly became unresponsive.
Next steps: Microsoft are analyzing performance data and trends on the affected infrastructure to help prevent this problem from happening again.
