Issue Description: Users are unable to use Event-Based Retention in Microsoft Purview Data Lifecycle Management and Records Management.

More info: Users may experience errors in policy distribution status, or events failing to trigger the necessary retention label actions such as deletion or re-labelling.

Current Update: 19/06/2025 08:25:00 AM – The deployment of the secondary code fix is progressing, and Microsoft anticipate that the remainder will take time to complete. They’ll continue monitoring the progress and will provide an update on the mitigation timeline as it becomes available.
