Issue Description: User’s may not receive the new email notification sound using Outlook on the web.

Final Update: 27/08/2024 09:31:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed that the fix has completed deployment and impact remediation has been confirmed with affected users.

Scope of impact: Any Outlook on the web user may not receive the new email notification sound.

Root cause: A recent configuration change contained a regression that caused impact.

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing their configuration update procedures to better identify and prevent similar issues in the future
