Final Update: 08/02/2024 11:30:00 AM – Microsoft identified that a specific section of networking infrastructure, responsible for facilitating access to the Microsoft Teams service, was unexpectedly operating below acceptable performance thresholds due to an increase in traffic. Their automated recovery systems rerouted affected user traffic to alternate healthy infrastructure, and they have confirmed following a period of monitoring that impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact: Impact was specific to some users who were served through the affected infrastructure.
