Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Some users may be unable to send email or experience a delay in sending email to the Microsoft Teams channel.

Final Update: 31/01/2024 09:04:00 AM – Microsoft successfully deployed a fix to address this problem and determined from service telemetry that the service is operating as expected and this issue is no longer occurring.

Scope of impact: Users serviced by the affected infrastructure may be unable to send email or experience a delay in sending email to the Microsoft Teams channel.

Root cause: A permissions related code issue was introduced in a previous Microsoft Teams update, leading to impact.
