Issue Description: Users may be unable to submit responses in Microsoft Forms.

Final Update: 25/12/2023 09:43:00 AM – Microsoft completed the update to the authentication component and confirmed after a period of monitoring service telemetry that impact is remediated. No further action from affected users is required to resolve the issue, and they anticipate form response resubmissions will succeed

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Root cause: An authentication component misconfiguration in a section of infrastructure, which facilitates the Microsoft Forms responses, was resulting in impact.

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing their configuration validation procedures to better identify and prevent similar authentication issues in the future.
