Issue Description: Users may be unable to use search in multiple Microsoft 365 services from any connection method.

Final Update: 14/12/2023 17:45:00 PM – Microsoft have completed the deployment of the fix to restore the affected .dll file across the impacted infrastructure, and routed traffic through healthy infrastructure while the deployment progressed. They’ve confirmed through telemetry monitoring that the mitigations applied have returned the service to a healthy state.
Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.
Root cause: A specific .dll file required to regulate searches in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online is absent, causing the impact to occur.
