Issue Description: Users may be unable to use the Share to Teams feature from enabled apps.
More info: Affected users can initialize the Share to Teams feature but receive no search results for users or channels where email messages can be shared. Some users may have recent search results cached, allowing them to continue sharing to those users and channels.
Affected apps include, but may not be limited to:
– All Exchange Online connection methods.
Final Update: 20/11/2023 10:22:00 AM – The fix has completed its deployment and after a period of monitoring, Microsoft have confirmed impact was remediated.
Scope of impact: Any user using the Share to Teams feature in an app where the feature is enabled may be impacted.
Root cause: A recent update to the infrastructure responsible for facilitating Share to Teams search results introduced a code issue that’s preventing the service from receiving these results, resulting in impact.
Next steps: To help prevent similar impact in the future, Microsoft are further reviewing their update release procedures to identify code issues before deployment
