We recently identified an issue with the MFA Status Report and have been working with our engineering team to fix this problem and ensure accurate reporting in this space. Our thanks to all Local Admins that raised tickets in support of our investigation.
We are pleased to confirm that the MFA Status Report has now been updated and will continue to be updated on a daily basis going forward to ensure that you have the information you need to support the successful roll-out of MFA across both your local organisation and the wider NHSmail platform.
However, it is worth noting that the MFA Status Report will not provide an MFA Status currently where MFA is applied via Conditional Access groups rather than on a per user basis via the Portal User Interface (UI). Where a user has MFA enabled through a Conditional Access policy, the Portal User Details page will still allow for MFA to be enabled via the UI, however, this will subsequently be removed and replaced by MFA enabled via the relevant Conditional Access policy, because this policy takes precedent.
