Final Update: 26/10/2023 08:28:00 AM – After completing our data replay, Microsoft have confirmed that September 2023 is now appearing in the M365 Emissions Impact Dashboard as expected and that impact has been remediated.
Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this event, and any admin attempting to view emission data for September 2023 in the Emissions Impact Dashboard for Microsoft 365 app in Power BI may be impacted.
Root cause: The pipeline responsible for generating the emissions data for each month didn’t generate after failing to meet data quality standards, resulting in the delay of emissions data for September 2023 to not populate on time.
Next steps: Microsoft are further analyzing the affected pipeline and their data quality standards so they can help prevent similar problems from impacting users in the future.
