Final Update : 10/10/2023 13:20:00 PM – Microsoft identified networking issues on components which facilitate access to the Microsoft Planner service. Initially, they performed targeted restarts on the impacted components, however, this did not provide the expected relief. They then rerouted connections to healthy infrastructure within an alternate region and have verified that the issue is resolved after monitoring the environment and receiving confirmation from previously impacted users. They continuing to investigate the underlying root cause and will provide more details within the Post Incident Report.
Scope of impact : Impact is specific to users who are served through the affected infrastructure in North Europe.
Root cause : An intermittent networking issue resulted in impact. Further analysis is still ongoing and they will provide more details within the Post Incident Report.
Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing network diagnostics to isolate the underlying source of the issue.
