Issue Description : Guest users may be unable to post messages in Teams Channels in Microsoft Teams

Final Update : 13/10/2023 08:40:00 AM – Microsoft determined that a section of networking infrastructure, responsible for facilitating image loading in Microsoft Teams chats, was performing below acceptable performance thresholds and resulted in impact. They have redirected affected user traffic to alternate healthy infrastructure and have confirmed via telemetry that impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact : Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Root cause : A recent change made in a portion of Microsoft Teams infrastructure aimed to update message posts in Microsoft Teams channels is resulting in a code issue.
