Issue Description : Users experience dataset refresh failures when using SharePoint Online list connectors in Power BI.

More info : As a workaround, affected users may be able to add the ID column back to the select statement within the M Query.

Users can also remove the ID column within the M Query if users are using ID column in “Table.RemoveColumns”

Final Update : 22/08/2023 17:22:00 PM – Microsoft have completed deployment of the fix and confirmed that the impact has been fully remediated.

Root cause : A recent update, intended to enhance our general service functionality, introduced a code error that’s resulting in dataset refresh failures when using SharePoint Online list connectors in Power BI.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing this recent update to better understand why and how it ended up introducing a code error, which will improve their testing efforts and validation cycles to prevent similar impact from reoccurring.
