Issue Description : Some users’ Poly devices for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android are continuously unpairing.

Final Update : 06/11/2023 08:44:00 AM – After further review, Microsoft have identified separate root causes manifesting in similar user impact scenarios and complicating updates on this issue. The initial fix they deployed to resolve the issue was successful in remediating this instance of impact. A subset of users will continue to see similar impact due a different service issue with separate updates specific to that investigation. Scope of impact : Your organization is affected by this event, and some users attempting to utilize Poly devices for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android are impacted.

Root cause : An update to the Microsoft Teams code base responsible for maintaining Microsoft Teams Rooms device connections introduced a code regression that led to impact.

Next steps: To help prevent similar impact in the future, Microsoft are further reviewing their update release procedures to catch code regressions before being deployed.
