Issue Description : Users are unable to see read receipts for Microsoft Teams messages.
Final Update : 20/07/2023 08:48:00 AM – Microsoft have reverted the offending change and they have received verification from affected users that this action has successfully resolved the problem.
Scope of impact : Any Microsoft Teams users may be impacted when attempting to view read receipts.
Root cause : A code issue within a recent change to the Read Receipt Service is resulting in impact.
Next steps : Microsoft are investigating how the code issue occurred within a recent change to the Read Receipt Service to prevent this problem from happening again.
