Issue Description : : Users may have been unable to join long-running Microsoft Teams meetings from any connection method.

More info : As a workaround, meeting organizers could have ended the affected meeting and created a new one to avoid this problem.

Final Update : 11/07/2023 08:46:00 AM – After an additional period of monitoring, Microsoft have confirmed through internal telemetry that impact is remediated and the service is healthy.

Scope of impact : Any user attempting to join a long-running Microsoft Teams meeting started before Monday, July 10, 2023, at 8:30 PM UTC may have experienced impact.

Root cause : A recent regularly scheduled service update resulted in impact to a portion of Microsoft Teams meetings that were started prior to and continued to be active throughout our deployment process.

Next steps : Microsoft are continuing to investigate the offending service deployment to gain further insight into the source of the issue and prevent similar impact in the future.
